I also think it would help if "Need chip ID" posts included the text of the chip so search engines can find them later. If you search for a chip with the initials "JJJ," it won't show up in the search results unless those initials are in the title or the text. A picture of a JJJ chip and an answer "James J. Johnson, Utica, NY" (that's an example, not a real ID) will not help anyone a year from now who gets the same chip and seeks the same info.
