Hey Dennis. I haven't purchased chips from you and it's probably because I am a newer member. I also may have missed an opportunity or two. I wanted to thank you for sharing this with us as it truly is quite remarkable as well as heart warming. I am incredibly impressed with your creative ingenuity (at least that's how I see it) in paying for your son's college education.
I know you are excited for your son and feel a sense of satisfaction, gratification as well as relief I understand this as I have a 22 year old son who has 2 years under his belt but does not know what he wants to major in and what exactly he wants to pursue in life with the exception of music, which he is, thankfully for me, aware he can not make a living doing. He is in a band and is really into music - mixing it, synthesizing it, singing it and playing it. Meanwhile he is working trying to find what he may have a passion for. I also believe he is seeking to find himself as well. At times I think it would be great if were graduating, but that would be entirely about me and what I see as societal expectations. I can not begin to count the number of my friends Facebook posts with their children graduating college. I take great solace in my Son figuring out without a college degree (or a trade) he is not only screwed insofar as being able to pay for his car, gas, insurance, and cell phone bill (shaking my head and laughing because working PT what did he expect), but mostly if he hopes to be financially independent and secure in today's world. I laugh because while he is highly intelligent and markedly creative, he had to learn this via personal experience. Some kids.....
I am very happy for you and your family, and wish your son much success, happiness, joy and love in his life.
