Survivor: Second Chance[1] is the upcoming 31st season of the American CBS competitive reality television series Survivor, which is set to film in summer 2015 in Koh Rong, Cambodia[2] and air the subsequent fall. Unlike previous seasons, which have been completely cast by producers, this season will feature 20 contestants chosen by public vote from a producer-picked pool of 32 former players, all of whom have only played once before and not won. The 32 candidates were revealed on May 6, 2015 and the final cast will be revealed at the reunion of the immediately preceding season, Survivor: Worlds Apart, on May 20, 2015, when they will be transported to Cambodia for filming.[3]

It is the 10th season to feature returning players, and the third to feature a cast consisting entirely of returning players, after Survivor: All-Stars and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. Though this season will be the 31st to air, it will be the 32nd to film, being switched with the preceding season in the production cycle, also filmed in Cambodia.[4]
