I was at one of the casinos a few days ago and they were just setting up the roulette tables. Apparently they can't count the chips in the racks like they do in America so they lay them all out on the table for the boss to count. I asked and got permission to take a photo of all of these 10,000 euro plaques down to the 1 euro chips laid out on the table. As I am getting ready to take the picture my phone decides to pick that exact moment for the battery to die completely so I never got the shot
Then last nite I screwed up again. I was going to go to 2 casinos, one about 45 minutes away and another over an hour away, not quite in the same direction. As I am driving I realize that it is already late, I have not had dinner yet and to visit the second casino will add probably over an hour to the trip. I decide to visit just the closer casino. I had both programmed into the GPS so I just cancelled it and picked the casino. As I get there I realize that I programmed in the wrong casino and I went to the farther one. No big deal, I will just get some chips and head back to the hotel. As I apply to get into the casino they tell me that the table games do not open until 9 PM! Since it is only 7 PM I do not want to wait around for 2 hours. I check out the slot machines and leave and head back to the hotel with no chips, no slot tickets and no entry or players card. Talk about wasted trip!
Hoping for better luck today since I have a 50 euro Casino Barriere Enghein Les Bains jeton that looks like it might be a live chip. If so it is getting cashed in today.
Need some help on one matter. I got gas at a few stations that were unmanned. I put my credit card in and it authorized me to get 120 euros in gas. I put in 31 euros worth but Cindy is telling me they charged me for the whole 120 euros. Do they return the unused portion or am I going to have to fight with the credit card company? Apparently this has happened twice so far.
