...Photo in 1997. "Machine Gun" Lou Butera is on the right. He still lives here in Las Vegas. Funny story about the time I was in Reno for a pool tournament in December, 1992 at the Sands Regency. It was about 8 at night & Lou & I wanted to play some poker. So we walk up to a security guard & ask where the poker room was located. He points to a door. Lou & I walk over & open the door & it is snowing with about 6 inches of snow on the ground. We go back & ask the security guard again. Once again he points at the door & says you need to walk about 100 feet to the next building. The poker room was located where you could only access it through a parking lot! So, Lou & I trekked through the snow to be able to play some poker.
