Loosing your luggage sucks. I've had it happen on a Christmas trip to a northern Michigan. It was a small airport in the latter evening and 20 degrees out. By the time we got our rental car there weren't any stores open. The next day I had to buy pretty much everything....jacket, personals, 2 outfits, under wear/socks, cell phone charger. I didn't recieve my luggage for 4 days. On my return trip home they wanted to charge me more money for my over weight bag because of my new clothes. I had to explain the entire story at this small airport. The airline was American/ American Eagle.
