For those who list OBSOLETE tournament chips - make certain you describe them in that manner. For all I know, fanatic detectives and gaming commission agents might even be monitoring THIS site!

When I buy at casinos, I simply tell the cashier or dealer or poker-room manager that I'm a collector. Sometimes I'm turned away, usually I can buy at least a few chips and those I can legally carry away.

Fred, take care - if the story about the Poker Manager losing his job is on the level, that terminated employee still may find a way to press civil charges against you. Long shot but who knows?
