I didn't count the number of rings David. I took the scrap brass rings to a local auto junk yard after checking the scrap value of brass and was paid $75 by total weight. That's $75 extra that coin dealers wouldn't have given me for whole silver strikes. In fact, some unscrupulous coin dealers deduct as much as $! per ounce from the silver value from silver strikes because they say they have to remove the brass rings, which is "labor intensive". I say B.S.!!
