Brassocattleya (Bc.) Maikai 'Louise' ncr)

Brought into Hawaii and registered in 1944, American Orchid Society. Became very popular after WWII, and shipped all over the world at that time. Many clones exist today... of which most are early-morning fragrant. These examples (I have 12) were little "orchids in a bag" in 2008-09... For me they start blooming in late-fall... and, as with the majority of my 'chids, I grow bare root with nothing touching the plant as if it was in nature; clinging to a tree, unrestricted and open to the wind and kissed by the sun. grin
