I think it is more likely that sample was made for TR King's own reference in matching colors on re-orders rather than for the casino.
I'm actually aware of many similar things from various manufacturers - there were hundreds in the chipco collection alone. If we listed every 'sample' that may just have been for a casino the guide would be two volumes, so we only list 'prototypes' (ie in the style the casino used)
I have several different colors of the Tropicana one and they originated from TRK.
