My knee jerk reaction to this:
if I were Straub, I'd pack up my toys and go home.
I mean... Welcome to NJ, thanks for all of the money you're planning on investing here. Now pay us $5,000 per day 'cause we need to force you into a contract that you don't like 'cause we have municipal bond money riding on it with the old-boys we've been doing business with.
With the building vacant, couldn't they extend some courtesy? Or do the Fire Department inspectors know something about the way the place was built that scares them that it may catch fire in the next couple of months, ala The Towering Inferno.
I just don't have any clue about NJ politics...
