The think jet printers that I keep buying heads keep clogging make them no longer useable, and of course, since I live a little too far from most everything except farmer's fields, it is a little in-convenient to pop into town just because you need another ink cartridge. So, I keep extras at home. Thus, when the printer goes bad, you wind up with un-used cartridges that the store will not take back.
Been thinking about getting a laser printer next time around (like this weekend as I need to print some stuff), but do not know what is a good printer, or a bad one for that matter.
I do NOT need a scanner, nor a fax machine - just a printer that does both black & white as well as color. It does NOT need to be wireless. I would like separate toners as opposed to an all in one toner. I would like it to do duplex printing automatically, but that is NOT a deal breaker if it does not. Should be able to do envelopes however.
While cost is a major factor, am willing to pay a little more for something that will last me a while longer as while. The cost of replacement toners needs to be factored in as when I buy it, I will also need to buy spares.
Your input would be most helpful, good as well as bad....
Thanks!
