It's not about the hobby. It's about the money. I have to admit....my eyes were really big when I saw the chips on eBay for a that but it now price.($249) I didn't even try to look them up in any guides....I knew they were higher value chips. I remember 1 chip selling for about $200 on eBay about 6 months ago. Of course with that many chips being found/bought the value decrease significantly. I have never sold anything on eBay(yet, but have been thinking about it) and I sell a few items on this board(and will post a few later this week), but for the most part I just try to give people the same deals I get when I find things. I make a few bucks here and there, but will never get rich doing this. I just sell chips to fund buying more chips. I would rather trade than sell. My wife tells me at least once a week that I will never make money in this hobby(even if I wanted too) because I give everything away. 😃
