Don Laughlin's Riverside restaurant opposite the buffet restaurant has a very good late night breakfast -- their hash browns are delicious. And, all the breakfast items are very good. Reasonably priced. For an evening night out, Golden Nugget has two great restaurants -- Joe's Crab Shack and Salt Grass Steak House -- both stand alone restaurants that are very popular in Texas. Both restaurant chains are top brands owned by the casino's owner. For a different than casino lunch, we take the free casino employee water taxi across the Colorado River to Chili's for their western salads and outstanding selection of top-shelf margaritas.
