I think Archie posted the article a few years ago that items that were made for "collecting" are always a "bad idea" to collect. Its items that were not designed for collecting that will become the items that people will always want.

I disagree with Animation art, there are still a lot of people who collect "real" Animation art and will pay big dollars for Cels. The limited edition crap would be my guess the writer is talking about.

I didn't see phone cards on the list.......talk about one of the biggest bubbles, that hobby started and ended in about 3 - 5 years (and yes I still have mind and still collect certain cards/phone companies)

I think I will continue to collect Franklin Mint Casino Tokens; there are still a lot of interesting test and special issue ones I'm still adding to my collection.
