Wallace, Idaho is an old silver mining town. They were pretty much a wide open town until the 40's when the Feds started to go after gambling there, mostly slot machines. Here are 6 colors of the crest & seal chips that were used at Wallace Corner. The name was used at a hotel in the town as well as a General Store there. Records show five colors of the chips were shipped to Wallace Corner Co. Inc. in 1937. Mr. Pacific Northwest has had these for sale since about 1995 but the last I checked his remaining ones were pretty badly burned or stained by smokers. I got these quite a while ago and except for slight stains on the white and light blue, they are in EXC shape. I chose the best examples from Steve's stock at the time for my collection.
Kreg Herz' book of USPC chips lists five colors (including light blue) but not the white one. The Chip Guide shows 2 colors of pink but I think there is only one pink. Ed Hertel's Illegal Chip guide shows these six colors and values them at $30 ea.
If you need any colors for your collection, I'd sell singles for $20 including postage. If you need all six and I still have them all, I'd sell for $100. I only have one chip of each color; these are from my collection of C&S chips.
