Unless you are into hiking in the mountains there ain't much to do out there. Cherokee is about 50 miles from nowhere and the city is pretty small. The Gatlinburg drive thru the mountains is very pretty but takes several hours even though it is only about 70 miles. Your best bet is to just stay in the casino
