I used to take Continental/United from Newark using points. Then they stopped taking Amex.

Now I drive from Brick out to JFK. Longer ride but I like JetBlue a whole lot more. Plus I park at my brother's house in New Hyde Park and he drops me off and picks me up from the airport

Now if you were going early Tuesday and taking the Friday red eye home, I would say drive to my house and we venture together out to Long Island!
