Lots of people have emailed me questions about the 2015 Raffle so I wanted to let everyone know a few things about what we are doing and how it will work.
As in the past, the Club has organized a Raffle to be held at each of the conventions in Las Vegas.
The Raffle is one of the top Fundraisers each year for the club and the proceeds from it go towards us having additional funds so we can continue to provide our members with the best possible experience while keeping membership costs at a minimum.
So how does this raffle differ from the convention Grab Bags ?
- While both fundraisers are for great causes, the Raffle funds are used for the clubs General Fund while the Grab Bags benefit specifically the MOGH Project.
Does someone need to attend the convention to win?
- While we would encourage convention attendees to pick up their winnings in person, for those that are not in attendance, we will ship their prized to them at no charge.
When will we be drawing the winners?
- The plan is to draw winners each day of the convention in June.
How many winners will there be?
- That will depend on the amount of donations, but my plan is to break the prizes out into several packages with a minimum of 6 winners and a maximum of 16. the last few years we have had 16 prizes, each with a value of around $500.
What will the prizes be?
- I will attempt to make each prize package of equal value and they will be comprised of a good mix of the total donations received. That means each one will include a large amount of chips, tokens, slot cards, room keys, dice, playing cards, and other misc items as donated. Nothing will be held back and everything I have scanned and will continue to scan will be included. The top prize again this year will be a brand new IPad Air !!!
I can guarantee that every prize winner will be happy with their winnings as we have lots of great stuff donated so far and I have pledges from a lot more. I also plan on including some nicer items as we reach ticket sales milestones of 50 tickets, 100 tickets and more.

How can I buy tickets?
- All Tickets can be purchased by check or Money Order made payable to the and mailed to the address above. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25.
I will notify you that I have received your ticket order and will deposit your ticket into the raffle bin. There is no need to keep track of your ticket as your name will be on the list along with your ticket number so we will know exactly who the winners are.
