Re: Wide Range of $ for $1 Barney's S. Shore??

An eBay auction several months ago listed 600 of them at one time, so it's not a scarce chip any longer. But some sellers who know this continue to use the rarity reference (R-9) from James Campiglia's 6-year-old price guide, which values the chip between $500 and $1,200. Knowledgeable bidders pass, but some are getting taken to the cleaners.
