You never want PVC Poly Vinyl Chloride for long term storage solutions. You also don't want Polyethylene or polypropylene. The best Poly for Long term storage is Polyester(MYLAR). Nothing is better for Long term storage. Crystal clear and super strong. Comic Book people have been using it for years. I believe that the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian use MYLAR.
