So? Why the tape?...

Well, as I understand the story, this chip was acquired near new by a recovering alcoholic who used the tape (white medical tape) to record a year of sobriety. This was done several times for other chips.

The goo can be removed, but afterwards, one can still tell that something left a band through the face (and reverse) of this little gem.

Just the same, I'm certainly glad to have it in my collection. It is considered an R-10 in the C/W Guide.

I have a few other nice additions from the Show, including renewing some friendships!
