My hope is create Facebook and Twitter pages that somebody interested in:

a) getting into collecting casino memorabilia - AND/OR
b) coming to the 2015 Convention

will find out social media pages, spend some time out there, fall in love with the hobby and become a member and a hobby enthusiast for life.

Here is where I need YOUR help. Every so often, I am going to post a topic out on the Facebook & Twitter pages. The current one is, what got you into collecting casino memorabilia in the first place. So please, if you have a minute or three, post a little something about how you got started. I would greatly appreciate any and all participation you can offer.

So far, so good. Considering I created the Facebook page last Tuesday or Wednesday evening, we are up to 96 likes. I would eventually like to see that number come close to 500-1000, so I am THRILLED that 96 people have supported the Facebook page. The Twitter page isn't going as fast, but I am not as fluent in Twitterese as I am in Facebookese. But I am learning something new every day, and hopefully we can get both pages to have a large following.

If you haven't found us on Facebook or Twitter, it's very easy to do. We have the same handle (CCandGTCC). You can type that into the SEARCH line and that should take you directly to us. Please take a minute when you are on Facebook and/or Twitter and follow us. The more people who follow, the more it convinces somebody new who is considering joining the club that we are for real and it hopefully becomes a strong selling point for that somebody new to join the club.
