And here we gooo. Below you will see a few nicer chips. Not really any history to them that I am aware of but I am a somewhat newer collector as you are so I am not as informed as the old timers as to stories and possible fun history on chips. It may take a couple chip from here to make a fair trade just so we both know this going in.
st chip is from a closed LV Casino. Closed in 2000. Chip is from 1965 valued in TCR as "M" $100 - $124 Code N2151
nd chip is from the Horseshoe in LV. Called a diswrl mold from the 1950's era and it has a "L" value TCR of $75 - $99 Code N1775
rd chip is from The South Shore in Lake Tahoe. Opened in 1964 and closed in 1965. TCR "O" value $150 - $174 N3973
th chip is from the Golden gate in LV. Still open. Chip made in 1972. TCR value "K" $60 - $74 N4771
th chip is from Barney's Casino, Stateline. Opened in 1967 and closed in 1988. Chip is from 1972. TCR value at "O" $150 - $174 N5781
th chip is from the El Rancho in LV. TCR value "M" $100 - $124 Chip is from 1949 N1562 - this casino burned down but I do not think that was around the time of this chip. Much afterwards. This chip does have that weather look or some table play time.
