The Las Vegas strip once had a colonial themed motel with a “Plantation Room” cocktail bar. Built in 1953 next to Desert Inn near what is now the Wynn, Colonial House managed to stay in business spanning four decades on one of the most photographed streets in the world, with almost no existing photos of the place. Closed and demolished c.1987.
