Not only did Harry C Edwards live in the 20's, he died in the 20's -1922. The first commercial use of the "H mold" was in 1934 although I believe the mold had been around a little longer than that.

Harry C was 54 when he died which gave him plenty of time to raise a family... and name a son. "H" could be for Harry but it may be for Harry Jr. who used his fathers' connections with Alonzo Burt. Just speculation at this point.
