Maybe it's just me but it really seems like their isn't much happening with this hobby these days. Back when I found this board (4-5 years ago?) you could check it multiple times a day and always find scans of peoples traders, contests, really good information, or chips for sale at good prices. If you were to post chips for trade you would end up with 10+ responses and end up making at least 5 trades.

These days it seems like their are less people posting, almost nobody trading, very few contests, no round robins, and just less interest in anything that is posted. Maybe I am the only one who feels this way but it seems like all of the things that attracted me to this great hobby are slowly disappearing and I really wish we could bring it all back!

The other day I put a post on here with pictures of almost 80 chips that I was looking to trade for - the post was viewed over 300 times and I only received 2 responses. 1 of the responses couldn't find any chips they needed in my traders and I am still talking with the other person. At the same time I posted the traders that I have available and that post was viewed less than half as much as my wanted post. Is interest in this hobby dissipating or what?

I am interested to hear what other people think and if anyone has any of the chips that I'm looking for and thinks we could make a trade let me know. Thanks for listening to me vent. Dan R-8220
