You just reminded me of something that happened years ago....

A company that I used to work for (now closed ) had a big (for a small company) awards banquet every January. Sales people came from several states and my boss liked to have activities planned for the whole weekend. For a few years there was a "Vegas night" that ran from Friday afternoon 'til about midnight or so. We rented blackjack tables, and a craps table and a wheel of fortune,...if I'm remembering right. The stuff was set up in the office, my bosses son and his friends were the dealers, and there weren't many rules! lol! There were just generic plastic chips, not even denominated. BUT...one year they had cards from Vegas World!!! I begged and cajoled, and got a deck or two of them .

The company closed nearly 11 years ago, and the last few banquets were held in Nashville, TN....so this must have been around 1998-2000, not long after we started collecting. I'd forgotten that's where I got our Vegas World cards!
