This place is a zoo. It's the size of a casino on the strip, but filled with lowlifes like myself. Children were running around everywhere. It's the closet Casino to LA (non-card room) and so all of the Moron(s) go there to save $5 in gas it would take to go to the nicer places in Palm Springs. Another Tiger 9 Pai Gow table! Is this a common thing I'm unaware of, or just a California Indian Casino Rip-Off? My winning streak was interrupted here as I pushed 2 pai gow hands in a row, and took off, just a couple of bucks down from the Progressive and Fortune bets. Won a few bucks in the free slot play, so I paid full price for these chips. A new rack, but already dirty from constant use.

FAMILY REUNIONS WERE USUALLY THE REASON FOR ME TO TRAVEL UP TO THIS AREA IN MONTANA. I WAS STAYING OVERNIGHT IN BOZEMAN, AND THOUGHT I WOULD RUN DOWN A FEW LEADS I HAD ON BARS OR CLUBS THAT HAD POKER ROOMS.
THIS NIGHT I HAD AN ADDRESS TO THE KORNER CLUB, AND I THOUGHT IT WAS RIGHT IN DOWNTOWN BOZEMAN, WRONG; IT WAS HALF WAY BETWEEN BOZEMAN AND BELGRADE. AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR OF LOOKING (THIS WAS BEFORE GPS) I FOUND IT, AND IT LOOKS JUST LIKE THE PICTURE ON THE CHIP GUIDE, BUT MORE GAWDY WITH ONLY NEON LIGHTS AT NIGHT.
I WALKED IN THE SIDE DOOR AND ASK THE BARTENDER WHERE THE GAME WAS AND HE SAID IT HAD NOT STARTED JUST YET, BUT WOULD BE STARTING WITHIN THE HOUR. I SAID GREAT, AND STARTED UP THE STAIRS HE HAD POINTED TO. IF YOU EVER BEEN IN AN ATTIC THAT HAD BEEN CONVERTED TO A BEDROOM, THIS PRETTY MUCH DESCRIBES “THE POKER ROOM UPSTAIRS”. THE KID THAT WAS RUNNING THE POKER ROOM (HE LOOKED UNDERAGE TO ME, 18 IS LEGAL DRINKING AND GAMBLING IN MONTANA) SAID CAN I HELP YOU AND GRABBED THE BRUSH BOARD, I SAID I REALLY DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO GET IN THE GAME, BUT COULD I BUY SOME CHIPS? HE REALLY GAVE ME THE ONCE OVER THEN, HE SAID WHAT? I SAID COULD I BUY SOME CHIPS. HE DID NOT SAY ANYTHING FOR A WHILE, AND I KNEW I WAS IN TROUBLE WITH THIS ONE. THEN A FEW PEOPLE STARTED SHOWING UP FOR THE GAME. AND I THOUGHT TO MY SELF AFTER VIEWING THE RACK THAT WAS USED FOR THE GAME, NOTHING VENTURED NOTHING GAINED, COULD I JUST BUY ONE OF EACH OF THE CHIPS, AND I GUESS HE FIGURED THAT WOULD BE THE EASIEST WAY TO DEAL WITH ME AND SAID OK. HE SOLD ME A 25c, $1 & A $5 CHIP FOR $6. I THANKED HIM, AND MADE A DASH FOR THE STAIRS. I FELT LUCKY JUST TO LEAVE WHAT I GOT. AND NO, NOWAY DID I GET AS MANY AS I NEEDED OR WANTED…REGGIE

I am always trying to put things together that have some semblance of balance. Of course, that will always be in the eye of the beholder. Some of these may attract you the collector a little or a lot, no matter which way it attracts, please know I am always trying to help you out, with items you want at price that is fair. MANY YEARS AGO I STARTED MY POSTING, BY POSTING “A SET OF THE DAY” I THINK I HAD ABOUT 300-400 SETS ALL TOGETHER. THAT WAS A LOT OF FUN BACK THEN. AND WHEN I STARTED DOING “A PAGE A DAY” I INCLUDED BETTER SETS AS A CATEGORY.

THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO SELL CHIPS, I AM IN THE PROCESS OF DETERMINING WHICH IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE FOR A MEDIUM SIZE COLLECTION WITH A LOT OF EXTRAS. OF COURSE THIS IS PRE PLANNING ON MY PART. I HAVE SOLD CHIPS IN VARIOUS WAYS, BUT NEVER STOPPED LONG ENOUGH TO FIGURE EFFECTIVENESS.
