Hi Scott,
I was very happy to read this statement :
I think the club does a fine job at promoting and preserving casino collectibles and gaming history,
When the club was founded, it was basically for the collecting and enjoying of chips and tokens. Your use of the phrase "casino collectibles", instead of "chips and tokens", proves how the Club has evolved to embrace more than just chips and tokens. Part of that evolution, of course, came from the dealers who offered more than just chips and tokens. Another part of the evolution, I believe, came from collectors who share through the magazine, the MOGH (including the Chip Guide), the Chipboard, and other online venues. My husband and I have a very eclectic collection ( understatement!), and I've shared parts of it often on the chipboard and in the magazine. I hope that my sharing has encouraged others in broadening the scope of their collections.
The point of that long-winded ramble, was to encourage you to share your playable sets with the chipboard, and perhaps even in a magazine article. You might find more interest than you expect from other club members.
A few years ago we added a blackjack table to the collection...
