Went to 93.1 Jack FM's Chips for a Can event yesterday - be among the first 500 people at Morongo Casino's parking lot at 10 AM, bring one or more cans of food for the needy, and get: $10 in free gaming chips, a T-shirt (I've worn them before at the Casinorama Shows), and a $15 gift card from Ralphs Market for a free turkey. After that, went to Harrah's and Pauma Casinos down south. But on the way, I stopped off at the Banning Swap Meet - no chips found, but they had lots of batteries (???) - small, large, car batteries. Why, I have no idea. Somebody must have sold one once, and word got around. Mostly a "merchandise" meet by which I mean, vendors had modern-day goods, clothing, toys, etc. - much seemingly brand new.
The $1000 chip was found in L. A. last weekend. Run over by an ambulance or two, it seems (in front of an ambulance office). What's a good swap meet without SOCKS? These are amusing in that they have a secret message contained on them. Can you spot what it is? Quick!! - Call the CIA on this one.
Last, found the Standing Rock patch on the carpet at Pauma Casino. I'm fairly sure it came from Apache Indian.
