WIND RIVER CASINO RIVERTON, WY
THIS WAS BY FAR THE FARTHEST I EVER WENT TO HARVEST, ALTHOUGH I WAS NOT DRIVING. MY YOUNGEST SON AND I WERE ON A FATHER-SON ROAD TRIP AN WE WERE COMING FROM DEADWOOD. RIVERTON IS IN THE MIDDLE OF WYOMING AND THERE IS NO EASY WAY TO GET THERE.
BUT, THERE IS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE AND THAT IS THE FACT THAT MY SON LOVES TO DRIVE AND HE USUALLY TAKES LESS TIME TO GET THERE THAN MOST.
WHEN WE GOT THERE IT WAS NOT IMPRESSIVE TO SAY THE LEAST. BUT WE GOT OUT OF HIS HOT ROD MUSTANG AND WENT IN. THEY HAD A BLACKJACK PIT OF 6 TABLES. THE CASHIER WOULD NOT SELL ANY CHIPS, EXCEPT AT THE VERY LAST I TALKED THE PIT BOSS OUT OF 10 FIFTY CENT CHIPS. HE WENT AND GOT THEM FOR ME. THE $1’S & $5’S WERE EASY. I BOUGHT $200 WORTH OF CHIPS, THEY GAVE ME 4 QUARTERS AND $100 IN $5’S. SO, I PLAYED A FEW HANDS AT EACH TABLE BREAKING THE $25’S FOR $1’S TO TIP WITH…WINK…WINK. BY THE TIME WE LEFT I HAD OVER $50 $1’S AND $50 IN $5’S, PLUS THE 10 50c CHIPS.
ON THE WAY OUT WE GRABBED SOME SNACKS AND A COUPLE $1 DECKS OF USED CARDS FOR MY CARD COLLECTION, AND HEADED FOR JACKSON HOLE. AND YES, I MOST DEFINITELY BOUGHT ENOUGH CHIPS FROM THIS CASINO THIS TRIP.…REGGIE
This is very important
Please remember, when you are trading with fellow chippers, or buying from a chip collector or dealer; to let the person you received chips from know that you received them. That should happen the day you open your shipment and verify its contents. This is especially helpful to the shipper when the package (chips) is sent international. It is impossible to predict or guess when delivery will be made.
Also, put a little blurb in your short message to the sender concerning the condition of the package/chips. That helps shipper know that his shipping methods are adequate.
Sometimes, we all forget. Sometimes we just do not know it is customary to do so. Sometimes we are just learning about this crazy hobby.

MY COLLECTION LIBRARY WEB SITE
Starting in January 2016, I have listed everything I have (all of my excel inventory +) on the collection library trader/for sale. Of course, many of you did not know that my previous listings were items I had more than one of. Now, everything; even the ones I only have 1 (one) of will be listed. Please know; none of these are from my personal collection. One more important point while searching for chips on my CL site; there are two settings for viewing my chips. One is a simply a long, long list of pictures and descriptions. Two is by Country/City/State/Casino alphabetical. You may request to change this at any time.

This will cause more work for me, and along with that will be the possibility of more errors, and chances for items to slip through the cracks. So, I apologize in advance for the times I do not clear off a listing after it has been sold. Also, on the other side of coin, there will be times I will find a very nice item that I had forgot to put on the “Collection Library” when I first got it. And now I am listing it just when you started looking for it.
*On the subject of trading, please know: When you spot something on my CL Trader/For Sale list that you really want, I need to get something that I can put into my collection, also; or it will be a cash sale. Because, to take in trade something I will in turn have to sell, (that is already in my collection) requires me to work twice as hard to complete the original transaction.
The total amount of chips listed on this site as traders and for sale are approximately 4500. This of course will fluctuate up and down, however this number should afford most collectors looking for a piece to put in their collection at least an opportunity to see a few chips not often offered.
