This year is the 40th anniversary of the closing of the Thunderbird in Las Vegas. Here is a set of dated Borland memorial chips that he sold back in the 1990s. Included are both the scarce 1st and the 2nd issue chips of the $100 and $500 denominations; notice the difference in size and shape of the inserts. Also, note the $1000 is a pie chip.
