A piece of an actual D.B. Cooper bill from the November 4, 1971 airplane skyjack. (The only unsolved skyjacking in aviation history.) Cooper parachuted out of the plane over rugged terrain somewhere between Seattle, Washington and Reno. He took with him $200,000 in $20 bills of ransom money.
In February 1980, along the banks of the Columbia River (near Vancouver, Washington) 8-year old Brian Ingram found an estimated $5,800 of ransom bills buried in the sand. Eventually, a small portion of these bills were turned to the Ingram family.
I purchased these DIRECTLY from a Brian Ingram auction. It contains a COA from PCGS currency - also signed by Brian Ingram.
What makes this note especially collectible is that the serial # on the bill is intact. Before the bills were handed over to the skyjacker, the serial #s of the bills were compiled and the numbers recorded. Check the serial # on the bill above. Go to:

(Make sure you put the "Bill Series" as a 1963A.) It's a match.
A worse version of this bill was sold to the "Pawn Stars" for $1,600. No serial # on it.
My bill has a serial # that matches the FBI records!!
