I stopped by after work, about 4:00 AM. The cashier was very nice and wanted to help me. Unfortunately for me her boss was there. She was quite stern with the cashier. I felt bad that my request was causing her to be reprimanded. I asked to speak to the manager and she was pleasant enough to me but adamant that they wouldn't sell any $2 chips. I tried to explain to the boss that the cashier was just trying to help a guest. The manager calmed down and said that she was just trying to convey the seriousness of the situation. Don't think there will be any more getting out.
