But to call Vin Scully BORING is a reach. He tells stories. He makes the players on the human. And he doesn't say stupid $hit on the air like "Well, when I played baseball, I had to get cortisone shots in my elbow in order to pitch some days; so I was taking a performance enhancing drug like Barry Bonds took PEDs. So I don't see what the big deal is!"

Honestly, I heard that precise phrase during a game about 5 years ago. I will let you guess WHICH baseball team's announcers make said statement (don't hurt yourself trying to guess). OH, and he's the best part. THEY ARE STILL ON THE AIR!!

I'm not even a Dodgers fan. But give me a Dodgers game with Vin Scully and a cold beverage any day over of all the other baseball announcers out there!!
