Years ago we were coming back from Las Vegas to Cleveland and a few miles from landing when the plane suddenly made a turn went out over Lake Erie. Co-pilot comes into cabin and pulls up a panel on floor and climes down into the plane bottom. The landing gear had a malfunction and didn't come down all the way and lock in position.

Got to see a LOT of fire trucks and emergency vehicles accompanying us down the runway when we did land.
