Greetings to One and All!
I've been targeted by scammers representing that they are IRS agents and that I've committed tax fraud, yada yada yada.

They've called me several times, and today I finally took the time to waste their time listening to the whole scam. They're good, and I can see that if they run into someone who has tax issues, that it could be compelling as they had a whole lot of data about me that they rattled off... So for fun I agreed to go and get $1445 worth of Green Dot money cards within two hours (NOT) and wait to see if indeed they would call me back in two hours. In the meantime I called Las Vegas Metro Police, who had the phone number right handy for the FBI department handling this scam, who gave me the website above and suggested I follow the links to file a report:

SOB called back in exactly 2 hours ( Why aren't my Doctors office, Pharmacy, etc. able to do that?) He asked if I had the Green Dot Cards. Said no, I couldn't get the money. Asked me if I really wanted him to turn me over for enforcement and possible arrest. I told him that I was surprised that he'd want to get anywhere near law enforcement. I told him I did have some numbers I could give him and rattled off the FBI number and the websites cited. It took him a minute to realize the game was up as he continued to read off his script. Finally when he saw the light, he suggested I go to the Statue of Liberty and go jump off the top of her! I told him I didn't like going to New York. He then said I could come to Pakistan instead and [perform oral on him], called me a [rectal opening] and hung up!
In all, I was thoroughly entertained, just having gotten home from the hospital with nothing better to do, wasted about an hour of his time, maybe saving 5 or so other folks from getting his calls today.
