ATLANTIC CITY - MGM Resorts International is looking to return to the Atlantic City casino market.
Officials with MGM will go before the Casino Control Commission on Wednesday, in an attempt to reacquire the company's stake in the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
Several witnesses are expected to testify in the hearing, which would determine whether or not the company is suitable to qualify for a license here.
Just four years ago, MGM surrendered their license amid scrutiny certain members had ties to organized crime.
Many are wondering about the timing of this application, and if it will mean bigger things for the gaming company in Atlantic City.
