It seems casinos are offering MORE table games.

In 2007, the Sahara had 1,070 slot & video poker machines & 56 table games. The SLS currently offers only 800 slots & more than 70 table games.

SLS isn't the only one either. The Cosmopolitan opened with 77 table games in 2011. It currently has 126 and will soon be adding six more. They are also trimming their slot machines down from 1,500 to 1,350.

Why? According to John Unwin, CEO of the Cosmopolian, "That just reflects what's happening in the market. There was tremendous demand for more tables."

I think this holds good news for those of us who collect poker chips. The demand for MORE table games means the demand for more poker chips.
