I have found a mechanic that keeps my 2002 Dodge Intrepid running for me. About 4 years ago we hit a deer on the highway and while it did a lot of damage to the car it rolled right over the windshield instead of coming thru. Not sure we would still be here if it had come thru the windshield. Suspect due to the shape of the new cars it would have been much worse. Plan to drive the Intrepid a while longer because I do not really like any of the new cars (even though my wife has a 2011 Ford Tarus). Maybe someday some auto manufacturer will come up with an original design again. Until then I'll keep driving what I have now.
