In less than a week, the window of opportunity both opens & closes : it closes for those that have reserved dates in the past but have not yet done so for the upcoming 2015 version of the Casino Collectibles Calendar...which means it opens for those that wish to buy a date (or several) that were previously reserved & now are "unclaimed". What that means is that it is...
The past several years, the has put out a work of art that is a tribute to our hobby -- it's called the "Casino Collectibles Calendar" & we are working on the 2015 edition. Next year's edition will focus on casino & gaming collectibles from specific casinos or areas from around the world. These calendars are very colorful & a great way to both enjoy & share your collecting passion with those around you. I have calendars from the past couple of years hanging in my office, just 'cuz they're pretty cool. For those of you that have participated in this great activity in the past, we hope that we can count on your again this year to help make this fund raiser both fun & a club success. For those newer members that don’t know what this calendar is about, here’s how it goes:
You contact me to reserve a date (or two…) on the calendar. Each calendar date is for $10. I’ll check to see if it’s available and if it is, I will reserve it (them) for you. You would then send me a scan of your favorite chip or any GAMING chip(s) that you’d like to have featured on that (those) date(s). The cost to purchase a calendar is $18 each (which includes shipping) and features some great gaming history insights & artifacts courtesy of our wonderful club members.
Payment can be made either through PayPal to the club’s PayPal account ( ppcalendar@ccgtcc.com ) or you can mail payment (payable to the CC & GTCC) to me at:

Please notify me at stevebedo@yahoo.com if you’d like to “buy a date”. As we have done in the past, dates reserved by members on previous calendars get first choice. I have sent an email to those members to see if they’d like to reserve the same date(s). If those members don’t respond by August 15th, those dates get released. And we’d like to have as many members participate as possible, so if you’d like to reserve additional dates, let’s wait to see if some new participants need those dates first.
For those that do join in on the fun, we need your scans and payment by the end of September (PLENTY of time ) so that the calendars can be mailed out early to mid-November…and you can have them for the holiday season .
Also – if you have any ideas of what you’d like to see featured on the “title” page of each month, please forward those as well. If you’d like to buy a particular month’s “title” page, you can do that as well ($150). Or you can also buy a banner ad that runs at the bottom of a month for $50. This is a GREAT way to share your love of gaming history & memorabilia and expose others to your hobby. There’s info about the calendar in the latest Casino Collectibles magazine.
