In recognition of my retirement I am hosting a CONTEST. It is open to anyone here on TheChipBoard and will close only after there is a winner!
This is the prize pool:
While not extravagant, I'm sure the winners will be happy to receive one or more of these groups.
A little background... In 1977, after 5 years in the Army as an MP and a Counter-Intelligence Special Agent, I took a job with a major aerospace employer. Over the course of nearly 37 years now I have been continuously employed in the aerospace business by 4 different employers. The overall task here is to guess which 4 employers I have worked for, but of course there is a twist.
The twist is that I have worked for one of the companies twice and part way through, it was bought out and underwent a name change. So, your mission is to guess which aerospace companies I have worked for and in which order I worked for them. The company I worked for twice and which under went a buy-out and name change must appear as a single entry with a slash between the two company names.
So, a valid entry should appear along these lines...
Name A, Name A/Name B, Name C and Name D, or
Name A, Name B, Name A/Name C and Name D, or
Name A, Name B, Name B/Name C and Name D, etc.
Prizes will be awarded based first correct name in the correct spot. This means that there can be winners for being the first to correctly identify any one (or more) company in the correct order. Since the most recent is the easiest, that winner will pick last. The person that correctly identifies and sequences all correctly will pick first. The second pick is reserved for correctly specifying the 2nd, followed by the 3rd employer.
Note: While I'll be reading all the replies, I will not be incrementally letting people know how they are doing. Only when a full and complete (correct) answer is given will I respond. If things get bogged down, I may provide clues.
Good luck!
Jim
