I had checks I had to deposit for the club so I thought I would hit the yard sales this morning on the way to the bank and see if there was any good stuff left. Well here is what I found. The top two rows are the bulk of what I found and comes in at 1.5 ounces of silver for $9. The stuff under it I found on the way home at the last sale I hit. I stopped there and bought a cheap ($1) small table to put one of my slot machines on. As I paid for it I, as always, I asked if she had any jewelry for sale. She said she a second bag in addition to what was on the tables. She pulled out a 2 pound bag of jewelry and I saw at least one or two silver rings in it. She wanted $3 and I offered $2 So for $2 I got 2.25 ounces of silver plus the remainder of the 2 pounds of jewelry to sell at the next yard sale for $.50 each. . At one estate sale today I also bought a 6" high stack of very old comics. How old? How about 1945-1949 for some? They are pretty soggy from sitting in the garage for years and I have no idea what they are worth. Hopefully more than the $2 I paid for them.
