That story about an employee grabbing the "wrong" box of chips is so old, it walks with a cane! I heard the same about the New York NY "Nevada" chips, when even the cage cashier did not recognize when the first few surfaced. And then there was the tale of Arizona Charlie's Decatur when the small-inlay chips were gotten, in some manner, from the vault before issuance, and offered at high premium. And in about 6 months, Charlie's small inlays and NYNY Nevadas could be found at any table. Spotted with mine own eyes. So, here. Not worth paying a premium for a ferekachte house chip that will be circulating all over the New Trop by November when I next plan to return to Las Vegas.
The real trick will be buying one from the Cage. They've sold me stacks of chips before so I will try again. I put on a very appealing Puppy Face and make little howling noises when begging for chips! Ooooo, ooooo, ooooohh!
