.... on the MoGH website.
Go to the MoGH website ( www.themogh.org ) and select Press on the right sidebar. There you will find media coverage links for both the Mob Museum and the El Cortez.
Since the Mob Museum does not typically do unveiling events when displays are added or changed out, we consider ourselves very fortunate that we were able to get TV coverage on June 17 when the Illegal gambling and Flamingo displays were first available for viewing to the public. There are 3 video clips and one audio clip (which briefly covers the El Cortez, the Mob Museum and the convention - this was a live, unscripted interview on a local CBS station at 6:35am on June 17).
Also on June 17 the Jackie Gaughan tribute exhibit at the El Cortez was unveiled with plenty of fanfare. A great deal of TV and print coverage occurred at 11:00am with attendance by the board of directors, MoGH board of directors, several members, Alexandra Epstein and other El Cortez executives.
I encourage you to take a few minutes to check out the media coverage, especially if you have not been able to visit the Mob Museum or the El Cortez.
