Originally located at Court and Tremont Streets, near Boston's Government Center, once
Scollay Square, not too far from the site of the Boston Massacre, is a 227 Gallon giant Tea
Pot that has steam coming out the spout. It was originally cast in 1873 for the Oriental Tea
company. It has a capacity of 227 gallons, 2 quarts, 1 pint, and 3 gills. The kettle was moved
awhile back and is now perched on the Sears Crescent Building, not too far from Fenway Park.
