I have just received word that The King of Casinos is a FINALIST in the very well-respected Readers' Favorite Book Contest.

Readers' Favorite is a rather big deal. There are several categories and $10,000 in total cash prizes being awarded. Generally, when there is ANY cash award offered the number of books being submitted is significantly higher and therefore, the competition is greater. To be completely honest, I really didn't think I had a snowball's chance in Vegas of even making it this far. I really only entered the contest for the free book review on their well-traveled website and the chance to be seen in front of representatives from Wind Dancer Films. To be chosen as a finalist is truly unreal.

Winners are announced on September 1st and the review will be coming out later this year. Wish me luck!
