With over 1500 casinos in the US ( an average of 30 per state) and many recent announced closings, it certainly appears that casino developers are killing the goose that layed the golden egg. It is equal to opening a pharmacy on every street corner. Even in states that approved casinos (like MA) no new construction has begun. Of course, as a chip collector I applaude every opportunity to acquire new chips, at the same time it becomes a task to try and keep track of openings/closings. Does this help or hurt our hobby? I think overall it helps our hobby. What do you think?
