Rich, very nice! However, I can't help but think..

that there might be some other variations.

I posted these pics some time ago...

In the scan above, note the "red" chip (row 1, chip 1). I do not see the same coloration (red) in your examples. But don't stop there. See also the next scan...

This scan shows 4 different side patterns (i.e., different patterns printed on the rolling edge) as well as all 7 examples that I have. The inset scan shows the 7 chips stacked and the rolling edge stretched out with the magic of rolling chips in sequence with the scanner imaging bar. I have noted 4 different patterns (1 - 4) and have labeled each chip with the corresponding pattern number.

Note that the seemingly same patterns of 3 and 4 are, in fact different. Pattern 3 uses the base ceramic color (white) to be the squiggly line, while pattern 4 uses an actual color to be the squiggly, leaving the base ceramic color to be the half-moon shapes.

This difference make the 2 light blue colored chips different, as one has pattern 1 (saw-tooth) and the other uses pattern 3.

So, what patterns do your chips show and is there a possibility that there could be other examples?

Thanks,

Jim
